About Olesya

For over 20 years I have practised and taught yoga and Pilates in different countries. In my work I draw on the traditions of yoga and the principles of Pilates, enriching them with professional knowledge of medicine and physiology.

My training includes a teaching and medical education, international certifications in Pilates (Institut Pilates) and yoga (a certificate from the Iyengar yoga institute RIMYI), and international training in yoga therapy. What matters to me is not just to show an exercise or a posture, but to help you understand and feel how your body moves, where it needs support, and what will help it gradually find more freedom and stability.

  • International Yoga Therapy course with Stephanie Quirk
  • Faculty of Medicine, “General Medicine” programme (RBMK)
  • Trained as a teacher — first degree (Southern Federal University)
  • Teacher at the “Southern Fitness University” (2010)
  • Instructor of the year across the “Sport City” fitness club chain for Southern Russia (2009–2011), lead yoga teacher at X-Fit Premium (2014–2019)
  • Organising yoga tours and retreats since 2009 (including to India)
  • In 2014 opened the “Yoga Zhizni” yoga studio — one of the most successful in Southern Russia
  • Since 2015 training yoga teachers on an individual programme (now online, with personal mentoring)
  • Personal mentor and yoga teacher for VIP clients in Marbella (Spain) and Dubrovnik (Croatia), 2018–2019
  • Since 2020 running group and individual classes, online classes, yoga retreats and yoga teacher training in France
  • Since 2023 running group and private yoga and Pilates classes in Nice, Cannes and Monaco
  • Since 2024 partnering with premium hotels on the French Riviera to run sessions for VIP clients
